Quilt recognizes that we are writing, working, and publishing on traditional Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee territory.  We acknowledge the privilege it is to be on this stolen land, and to draw inspiration and comfort from its existence.  As a literary publication, we have the unique ability to uplift Indigenous voices and stories, and we aim to do so in a way that creates a safe and empowering space for all.  As Quilt continues to grow, we strive to implement reconciliation and amplify Indigenous voices wherever and whenever possible.
